Your Quest controllers will vibrate to indicate contact being made with a virtual surface. In the case of moving the eye with either the scleral depressor or cotton-tipped applicator, the strength of the vibration is related to how much pressure you are putting on the ocular surface.
For example, a very subtle vibration indicates you have made contact with the eye and can begin manipulating the eye position, and a stronger vibration indicates the tool is too far toward the surface and you need to pull your controller back slightly until the vibration level decreases.
Assessment of the procedure is based on a surgical score of 100, which is awarded if the step is completed properly without triggering any complications or adverse events (AEs).
The passing score varies between steps but on average is 80 points. Each AE incurs a penalty point deduction anywhere from 0 for a very minor event to -100 for a very serious event.
Sessions are valid for formal assessment only if you have progressed through each step in a linear fashion, without skipping or repeating any steps.
Your results are available on the AAO VR Data dashboard.

If your vision is blurry, readjust the headset on your head (move it up and down on your forehead and adjust the straps or headband). If you're still unsatisfied with your vision, please visit the or Meta Quest pages for further details on headset adjustment.
